Just saw a commercial for the Subaru B9

First thing I thought "Oh, Kia has a new SUV." Finding out that Subaru released that monstrosity just absolutely blew me away. I'm sensing this one will go the way of the Aztek.

I think it's too round, the back is too plain and the headlights are in a really goofy, awkward spot. I missed any shots of the interior if they had any, so I can't comment on that.

I saw one at the new york auto show. The front face really needs some work as the new subaru grill really doesn't go with this car. Te interior was very nice and the one I looked at had 3 rows of seats, and all the add-ons you could expect in a family mover. Very nice car and with 4-wheel drive and I thought that it will probably sell fairly well, until I learned that they are starting in the mid-30 range. I not sure what subbie was thinking but for mid 30's there are an awful lot of family haulers out there that get the job done, are just as optioned out, but costs alot less. Too bad, I think it would have done well...

that half-second shot of the interior looked pretty nice (I think the commercial should focus more on that)

but the exterior is atrocious. They look just as bad in person

I thought it was pretty ugly from pics but in person it looks much better. Not the best looking SUV but it is unique. I would consider buying one if I were looking for that type of vehicle.

I think its hideous - both in pics and in person. The b9 looks great on the inside though, and I guess thats what you will be seeing most of the time, but it definately wouldn't give me a nice feeling as I walked up to it to put the keys in the ignition like my 8 does lol.
