The new civic is anyway. I really didn't like the design at first, but the more I see of it, the more I like it, especially the interior.

well, it certainly looks better than the bland one that it replaces.

no doubt, 17 year olds will be pulling up next to me in no time, engine revving, hoping i will race them. which i won't.

agreed, a huge improvement over the current SI, the stick seems to have been moved further down as well...I hated the placement of it on the previous models...

I think I took that tach picture from a non-si civic. Don't know if the si gets higher redline.

Doesn't look bad at all.. I just hope they made it more difficult to put those stupid mufflers on this car compared to the other civics. About 7 out 10 civics that I see have that stupid muffler...

WWWWAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!! Makes it sound like a weed wacker. A lot of other cars use them too though.

I think the interior looks pretty nice too. With similar performance and costing thousands less than a RSX-S, should be a hot seller.

i really like the dash my self, nice color combinations and sleek lines in the interior and exterior. I doubt its going to be a hot seller though, I see maybe 1 rsx-s for every 8-10 regular rsx on the road. civic SI is a niche market car that only appeals to enthusiats. And there isnt a lot of us out there.

I like it this car will have a huge aftermarket following very quickly. It is a huge improvement over the one it replaces.

Too bad it still has the mac struts. ivtec doesn't do it for me. Nothing beat the intensity of the older b16a's. I wouldn't mind a used type r for my daily driver either.

My first car was a 96 red coupe ex, I have never loved a car sooooo much. I think it's GREAT looking inside and out, I'd own one any day.

I-Vtec doesn't do it for you? It's just a more advanced version of the Vtec used on the B16. It makes more a great deal more power. The B16 we got was only 160 horsepower and it didn't rev this high, at least I don't think so. You should test drive this car, it is subtly powerful and has a very nice sound to it. Honda did a very good job on this one.

Have you test driven the Si? I thought it wasn't out yet.
