it's been exactly a month...
exactly a month ago i sold my Rx8 the forums have been a great help. it's nice to see this site is still active. i definitely miss being one of few rotary's on the road. the handling it had. the looks it got, and the compliments i got from it. and just the car overall. and my interior i still browse the forums every now and then. but i guess you guys want to know what i got.. i got a honda FA5 and it's been great so far. not going to lie, i still find myself revving my engine before turning it off sometimes. now onto pictures...
the Mazdarati SE3P (6spd M/T GT w/sport package)
first week of ownership
and then...
Honda FA5
winter mode. 4x4 status >_<
i still have the metra kit for the Rx8 sitting in my room if anyone's interested in it.

I love my '8. But, I also run a large snow-plowing business. Guys rag on me all the time when I show up to the office and park the 8 in the garage while there's 1-20 inches of snow on the ground.
I will never ditch this car. There's just something about it that grabs your heart.

don't do it. you'll regret it. seeing the car go down my driveway was a sad moment. and to top it all off it was raining that day hah.
didn't know posting was a crime. 8club gets unfriendlier as the years go by...

I'll admit, it's not a trade I would have made, but that is a particularly nice example of a clean civic. As long as the OP is happy and it meets his needs, why should I care? I only get annoyed when someone comes here as if they're trying to convince everyone their car is better than the RX-8.
I sold my RX-8 just over a year ago and I haven't felt unwelcome. I actually still frequent these forums more than the forums for the car I actually own.
To the OP: The car looks nice and it sounds like you enjoy it. What's in front of it in the head on picture? Is that the camera flash off of the puddle?

yeah, i like the FA, but we here in Canada also get the jdm type r.. in the form of an Acura... I don't think they make it anymore. ( stop last year or the one before ) but they do look better.. highly recommend the conversion as well

don't do it
possibly... watch out haha
I wasn't even criticizing the OP. I assumed stealth meant to post a link to a different forum or something like that.

ohh no, i'm not saying the car is better than the Rx8. they both perform well their respective categories. the honda is obviously more practical, but the rx8 was so fun.
yeah i still snoop around these forums as well.
yeah it's pretty fun. that i'm sure, i'm going to assume it's from the flash, but it kind of looks like the flashlight someone had that night. how it got in the picture. no idea.
yeah. although the usdm taillights are pretty nice. especially at night, but i do love the look of the acura csx / jdm tail lights. i'm hoping to get my rear conversion done this summer.

sorry to see you go, but you can't really go wrong with a Honda. My Ridgeline truck has 178k miles a lot of which was towing the RX8 in an enclosed trailer has pretty been trouble free (replaced the cat converters, otherwise maintenance only). My Civic Si is a year old and also zero issues.
