Talks about the difference between his role at VW and Mazda. He has much more input at Mazda. He's helping to put an emphasis on better interiors as well as pushing forward with flow designs.

Mazda could use some help with their interiors, particularly in terms of the material selection. When you actually get in and touch the materials, they don't really impress that much.

Yeah I think Honda/Acura interiors are a little nicer. They just feel like higher quality when you actually touch the materials. BMW has nice interiors also, but they are at a higher price point than a company like mazda anyway, so that is expected.
