OK then, 911T or RX8. Anyway, what are you planning to do with the SC? If it's in decent shape I may be interested.

As for the '82 SC we're planning on trading it in or selling it, whichever way we get more for it. We're looking to get at least $20k for it as it is in excellent condition. If you're interested, shoot me a pm.

I'm kind of leaning towards the Porsche right now...but i'm still trying to decide.
if you're seriously debating between a Porsche and an RX-8 then you're in worse shape then Master Yoda.

Sounds like you've already made up your mind on what you want.

Why did you bother asking?

Well Beast, thanks but no thanks. I paid $15K for my 1980 Targa, and that was on the high end for SC's. Only paid that much because i knew it's history, had 62K miles, was a two owner car, and is a fairly rare colour. $20K will put you in a very nice Carrera or even an early 930.

if you're willing to spend 66+k on a car seriously consider a z06 or wait listing a GT-R, you'll get more performance for the same money and also get a new car with a warranty, porsches get hella pricey as im sure you know with an 82 SC. But if you're considering an 8 its a totally different class. Its like saying "im hungry for apples, hmm should i pick this apple here or a tangerine."

all im saying is its not a choice for me, porsche all the way, and correct me if im wrong it sounds like your dad is buying you the car, since he's willing to spend the money just go ahead and milk him for as much as he'll pay.

Only reason we're selling it for more than average is because we put a whole new audio system in it (no subs!), got custom porsche mats, and customized the interior trim to match the red body paint.

Sorry to burst your bubble... BUT cars are worth more "stock" than with "aftermarket" items.

You best have the change to pony up when the P motor needs a rebuild. Some of the most mega buck builds i have ever seen come from air cooled P motors and thats not doing anything fancy. And the motors STILL don't make great numbers.

Never mind the fact that the motor is in the wrong place...

A dinghy or a catamaran race boat, which one would you pick? (price isn't a factor)
I'm kind of leaning towards the catamaran race boat right now...but I'm still trying to decide.
