If I weren't driving an RX8, I'd be driving...

I would love a Porsche, they just have a lot of reliability issues, I'm not sure i want another problem child. My boss has two (Panamera and a 911) and both have had annoying issues. He (his daughters) also has a Cayenne but other than a tail light problem it has been trouble free. A GT3 is my dream car but by the time i can afford one of those I won't care as much about reliability or cost issues.
It's not exciting enough for me, they are EVERYWHERE. They are great performers but the interior just kills the Mustang for me.

i would personally love an NSX but i just can't justify trying to fit into that thing every day, day in n' day out.
Dunno if you're talking about buying the NEW NEW nsx's that supposed to be coming out or if you're talking about a 'newer' nsx.
Either way i did some digging after a couple friends went n' bought nsx's i found out they're not as exepensive as i thought...

^i agree with you on porsche's not being an uncommon vehicle nowadays but for some reason a MODDED porsche ALWAYS gets my attention. imo, it's always impressive to see someone who has a great platform take it up to another level.
side note: for some reason i never felt this way about bmw though. A modded bmw(e46 and up), imo, is like the mustang of the euro world.
p.s. - yeah the interior sucks. Def not gonna argue that. lol

Yeah you can get an NSX for cheap. There was a guy here selling a low mileage 97' in perfect condition, dealer serviced, quite a few NSX-R parts, and with CCW wheels for 25k. At the time I was paying for my divorce so I couldn't swing it

Once upon a time I owned an LT1 Z28. Loved the power, hated everything else. WS6's were nice though, there was one I would battle at the drag strip back when I had my Turbocharged Civic.

I like just about everything about my rx8 more than my ws6 except for the incredible torque and the sound of the SLP exhaust

Ideally the Nur would be awesome but getting the r33 seems to be more "feasible" (<==if that makes any sense).
Even if i knew how n' where to buy them i would still be far from being able to afford the Nur. At least with the r33 i still have a shot at being able to afford that. lol

I was kind of lumping all the new Stangs in together but It's weird because I have seen two Boss 302 at the USAA FCU drive through, a red on with black stripes and a baby blue one. And there is one red new Cobra in my neighborhood with disabled vet plates.

If I went practical, I'd probably drive a G35 and try to do something like this:
Although I hold a special place in my for the Ford Mustang SVO and I would probably consider buying on again and building it into a street/track day car. Here's a pic of my old SVO:
