doesn't sound like any Z would appeal to RX26b. My Z is less than 200 lbs heavier than an RX8, has 540 hp/440 tq, compared to a stock Z it has a much stiffer chassis and much better handling, I have future plans of making it lighter and more powerful still, I've spent way more money on the car than what I paid for the car when it was new, and have tracked it

I currently have 5 cars (2 jeeps, a 78 vette, celica, and 350Z), and am buying a used elise in a few years, but I guess I'm not a car enthusiast because I don't drive an RX8


I mean, why am I on an RX8 forum if I don't own one? Because I'm interested in learning about the car. Everyone knows all the specs and stats etc, but what I'm interested in is people's comparison's of it to other cars to get their impression of it relative to another car and all there is in most cases, is a bunch of hate toward other cars that are not RX8's

Dont get this thread closed too. You take people opinions very seriously. Get secure. Im an Ike supporter and I support others like him that add good info for the community even though they don't own an 8 (although sometimes deliberately worded to get a rise from us 8 owners). The mere fact that he has nearly 8,000 posts shows that he is more than intrigued with he 8, he just values speed above all else. Can't blame a guy for liking the fastest toy on the block.

 

While I appreciate the support, I'd hardly classify myself as someone that values speed above all else. My enthusiasm for cars was spawned from racing shifter karts and then doing trackdays before I even had a drivers license. I value handling just as much if not more than most enthusiasts. I just like having my cake and eating it to

Had a nice RX8-350Z moment at the mall. I was looking for a nice spot, and a 350 was in a perfect spot with a guy sitting on it. He saw me circling, honked and let me take his spot. He then waited near the entrance, and I thanked him. Turned out he was waiting for his girl. SO WHY can't we all get along???

Ps. I wouldn't buy the 350 for me, but it sure as hell is on my list of nice cars.
