What are you talking about? Nobody in their right mind is going to cross-shop a small/mid coupe against a full-sized sedan.

I don't think its that good, and I really don't think its much of a phaeton. The phaeton was created to push the boundaries of what is currently technologically possible and the features of the car are simply amazing. All this is is just a cheap v8 sedan that's going to be built cheaply trying to sell people on the hyundai brand. Supposedly when the Azera came out, it was supposed to steal business from bmw 5's, mb e's, and audi a6's, but i almost never see any azeras on the road at all.

I personally think the interior is amazingly bland for a wannabe Mercedes or Lexus killer, and I'm aware of improvements in initial quality Hyundai has made, and could care less.

Initial quality is probably the least important aspect of the real quality of a vehicle. Tell me how many problems the car has had after 6 years or longer.

I totally agree with TownDrunk. There was a day when honda and toyota were looked down on. Im not rushing out to buy one but it could happen.
