You're assuming that the person with the gun isn't reading this forum right now and has seen your post. Now they're going to force you to choose a "real" SUV. Did someone say Excursion?

I think you're right about that. What would be the point? A tiny, cramped interior with high ground clearance? Maybe useful up north if it's AWD, but no use for runs to the home-improvement store and doesn't look like it could tow even a single snowmobile.

I did have a Hyundai conversion. For years I wouldn't go near them. Every so often I'd have to tell a rental counter clerk, "You haven't yet seen the day when I'll be driving a Hyundai. What else have you got?" The day I upgraded to a Mustang convertible worked out pretty well.

Anyway, I finally got stuck in a Hyundai Sonnata when my RX-8 was in the shop getting the deer damage repaired (talk about adding insult to injury).

Unfortunately, the worst thing was.................... I kinda liked it.

I'd never replace the RX-8 with a Hyundai Sonnata, but I believe it's got the Taurus beat hands down.

Oh well, hopefully we won't see the day when I drive a Hyundai *again*.

I am with CBD.....a few years ago I could never see myself in a Hyundai. This year Hyundai has some really competitive cars. The Sonata and Azera are really nice looking and amazingly equip'd vehicles for their respective price ranges. Korea has Japan and the US worried with these two cars.

if they change the headlights and the rims and if it has decent specs.... I might actually consider one day riding in one.

However, it looks absolutely ridiculous to be that compact and that high off the ground.
