They said the investigation is pending, but that it looked like the Ferrari drivers fault for passing on the wrong side of the road.

already a thread in the lounge.

Anyway, It's more the likely the F150 drivers fault. I'm sure the impact pushed the ferrari left of center judging by the angle of the ford and how far up on the hood he got.

I had something similar happen to my RX7. I was in the left turn lane waiting for the light to change. Across the intersection was a woman in a big Oldsmobile. She was going to go straight. I got the green left turn arrow and started to move. She took off like a bat out of hell. I stopped and she ran the car up over the top of my car and back down. Luckily the attendant at the gas station saw the whole thing and verified my statement to the police.

Nope, I'll bet the truck was coming out of that side street/parking lot and didn't see the little red car. The Ferrari made a left to try to avoid an accident, but the truck didn't stop in time.

Agreed. Thats what it looks like to me too. Especially with the angle the truck is at.

There was a description of what happened somewhere... sounded like the trucks fault. I think he pulled out when he wasn't supposed to or something.

I was looking at this on the website:

The accident happened in Brandon, Florida, when the Ferrari driver allegedly decided that the yellow paint on the ground didn’t apply to him (investigation still pending…). When he went to pass another car, he found a Ford pickup heading straight for his front bumper.....
But not to say you guys guys are wrong.

I loved that video. From what I read on another site there was a car in front of the Ferrari that was making a right hand turn so the truck took that as a chance to make his left hand turn out of the parking lot. the Ferrari decided he didn't want to wait for the car in front of him to turn so started to go around him over the double yellow line.

I dont think the truck could push the ferrari at those speeds so seems to be a pretty credible story based on the video.
