They kept playing the commercial during last nights game. I think it's OK. Maybe if I were a girl wanting a first car. Might consider it. Will I ever drive it? No.

it DEFINITELY needs a body kit and wheels to look at all even close to being a guy's car though. no matter how it drives, it does look very girly stock. blah.

It doesn't look mean and masculine, but I dont really think it's girly. If the mazda 2 scares you away because it looks girly, you have masculinity issues.

I do agree that it'd be fun to drive it with a few mods... I honestly think the right color matched with some decent wheels are all it would really have to have to make a pretty significant difference. It would be awesome if they released a MS version.

yeah, in black with a decent pair of 17's or even 16's would make a world of difference. i guess they chose green to solicit thoughts of good fuel economy? idk but it looks dumb and GIRLY in green. i said it

I would still go with the Lancer
http://www.mitsubishicars.com/MMNA/j...er/10/trims.do

Starts at 14.7k 22/31mpg 152hp engine stability / traction control a million airbags and it looks a lot cooler.

just read a review of the @ against the Fiesta and Fit. The 2 came in 2nd, although the reviewer said it felt cheap. the Fit came in 1st, the Fiesta in last, mainly because the Fiestas' slow. The Fiesta has a rock solid chassis, is quiet and looks high class, the reviewer notes, not bad for a 1st small car outing.
My opinion? The Mazda2 is cheap and won't last long but is fun to drive. I think the Ford Fiesta will turn out to be the better car and further down the line if a performance model is created will shine with its' better chassis.
The Fit will remain as is, a good but ugly car.

Yeah, this ^ doesn't make any sense to me. Did the reviewer leave the test track and drive home in his Bentley?

The 2 is low priced, but I would hardly call it cheap. The 2's looks are ..meh.., though bigger wheels and that aeropackage (not available right now) would go a long way towards improving it.

But where I test drove it, the dealership is also a ford dealership, so they had a Fiesta sitting next to it, and it was disproportional and fugly compared to the 2.

They have the same chassis, so I don't believe your chassis comment.
