helpp!!! buying car from out of state

so im looking to buy a car from florida and have it shipped to NJ....... anyone know the safest way to pay/ process for me to pay the guy for the car and recieve the title without either of us getting ripped off?

Yes and it will fix your other question too....

One way ticket from NJ to FL, followed by a fun drive home. It will be the safest and cheapest method of completign the transaction.

make contracts stating what you guys will be doing and have the contracts shipped back and forth as well as being notary signed and stamped.

you should really go down there and check out the car though. make sure its everything you expect it to be.

From personal experience....go down there and get it yourself. You can fully inspect the car, and there will be no Tom Foolery going on.

thanks for the advice but i prob should have mentioned its not running and im basically using it as a roller and selling off the parts i dont need...

ahhh....

umm it's nto cheap. If you have a truck or SUV with a hitch, or know someoen looking for a roadtrip, I recommend renting a dolley from Uhaul... Still get to be there in person, and FAR cheaper then shipping the car.
