check the vid on you tube "cornishrob123"mazda rx8 engine problems taken gear box off checked clutch and only thing wrong was a loose spring but had to push it around to move it, so stuck now what can ido . compession tests were 6.9 -7.0 one was 5.9,what do you all think please help me lol

The clutch would not make it so loud and rough running. Something is definitely screwed. For one thing there seems to be more internal noise escaping. Is something in the exhaust broken. If you have a lift get her up in the air and peek at the right side as a start.

the engine noise doesnt have anything to do with the clutch problem you perceive

sad rotary... completely unrelated to your clutch, unless it's spinning and knocking against it. Will it go into gear with clutch engaged without any ill effects?

If it wasn't for the loud knock I'd think your exhaust wasn't connected.

 

well after many saying must have a rotor in it, can i fit a rx8 pz engine in it ,mine a 04 on this a pz 6 speed will it be a plug and play or is the lump going upset the ecu ?
