You're telling me that Mazda celebrates 50 years of the rotary without having one for sale? They didn't even announce anything new with the rotary? 50 years is huge. Ford is coming out with a special Mustang next year to celebrate 50. This just goes to show you Mazda doesn't have the resources to really put behind the rotary. The should've had a new RX vehicle to celebrate 50 years. They probably thought they would have the RX8 still for sale and do some wimpy Shinka type version celebrating 50 years. Special seats and a plaque

The rotary is Mazdas' calling card. To let 50 years go by without fanfare is just wrong.
