Gas Taxes By State

Heres the map for this year (currently). As we all know we can thank Oregon for having to pay gas taxes in the first place.

18.4 cents of that is levied by the federal goverment. The rest is by the individual state.
Part of the Illinois tax is a sales tax, so as the price of gas goes up, the amount of tax rises.

The loathsome piece of dirt running CT has called for increases in CT's fuel taxes (I believe only California has a more insane gas tax).

As long as I can get what I paid for, Tax is non-issue

but New York? Wow. roads are shittiest and potholes are every god damn where. Even my retarded GF who never gives a **** about the car (all she cared was I have to pick her up at the right time) notice that there are "more" potholes lately. I was like wow thanks for telling me something I already knew like 10 years ago. Just shortly after Bloomberg steps into the office.

those taxes are supposed to be allocated for road improvement but things don't always work out that way

it never work like that in NY

Gas Tax money goes to fund whatever useless projects Bloomberg loves to do.

One example is BIKE LANES ! Its funny that the roads are so broken, instead of at least patch the potholes, they use the money to remove some of the existing car lanes into bike lanes ! how wonderful when we already have traffic problem everywhere !

There was a report about accidents created by people on bikes. So many people got hit cuz those f-heads never cared they just go and hit people, some got broken arms/legs/both but have to pay on their own cuz those bikers usually like oh too bad sue me all you want but I have no money to pay for your ***. sucks to be you. Did I just said they don't cared? cuz most of the time they DON'T EVEN USE THE BIKE lanes, they just "zoom zoom" all over the place, if your car hit them, they sue your ***. if their bike was behind your car and gave your car some dent/paint damage, they will say TOO BAD.

Bike lanes added to roadways just make it easier to take out bikers. It's like a deer feeder.
