i know this is a stupid question and all but can we fill up 87 or 89 in our cars or Just the 91-93 octane im jw cause im not sure

I once filled up with 87 and my 8 crept into my room and beat me with a sack full of doorknobs.

I mean I fell down the stairs and thats how i got these bruises.

The fuel cap says premium only. What you put in it is up to you. I'd reccomend searching this website because you could find your answers a lot faster then waiting for someone to respond to a question thats been asked a million times already.

 

My manual recommends premium which is what I use as with a fill up the price difference is not that much at all. If I drove a Neon or something I wouldn't be that worried about it but I think I will stick with what Mazda recommends for a $30k RX-8. Others on here have and do run regular or mid-grade which info can be found on this by searching.
