That guy is an idiot, and deserves to take the financial loss.

I got tired reading this potboiler at about the 2,000 word mark, with apparently 5,000 to go.

4K discount, not too bad a discount for buying an 04 thats been test driven 140 abused miles i guess.

As for the guy in the story. He really just got steamrolled. He should have at least talked to someone on advice of how to buy a car. But he really was stupid for being able to be strongarmed into the whole process.

I mean, if it was stressing him out, all he needed was to say he had to leave and just walk out. I've had dealers insult my manhood for not being able to make decisions on my own, thats pretty much the cue to walk out.

Another funny thing was that he was trying to get replacement seats and was shocked at $2K. I wonder how much he thought they would be? Even though $2K is about retail markup price. I'm sure they could have easily made brackets for it tho, I mean, its just a matter of bolting it onto the chassis.

The guy's a crybaby, there's too much to read for a stupid problem. If he had no intention to buy a car in the first place, he shouldn't have bought it right then and there. Plus at 5'11" 210lb, he's a big guy regardless of what he says.

Lol, if it had 140 miles on it and the average test drive is about 5 miles. That means like 30 people drove your car.

Big doesn't necessarily mean fat. He could easily have easily been 5'11" 210 lbs and been able to bench like 250 lbs. Though, if he was in that kind of shape, i doubt his back would have snapped, the muscles would have supported it.
