I come from an era where I was able to actually watch the greats such as Jimmy Clark, Graham Hill, Pedro Rodriguez and on and on. Guys you see in the movie Grand Prix. Races such as The Watkins Glen Grand Prix, many Daytona 24 hour race, Sebring etc. These are some of the fondest memories in my life for my love of Road Racing. Another great is gone that made racing what it is today.
So long Phil. Hope to see you in that great track in the sky.
