Ford names new head of Product developement

Ford puts Kuzak in charge of product development

Ford Motor Co. has put Derrick Kuzak in charge of product development and set up a group of executives to report to CEO Alan Mulally.
Kuzak, 55, who had been Ford's group vice president of product development for the Americas, will report to Mulally. Kuzak will continue to be in charge of product development for the Americas, Ford said. J Mays, head of Ford's design department, will report to Kuzak.
Also reporting to Mulally are Mark Fields, head of the Americas; Lewis Booth, head of Ford of Europe and the Premier Automotive Group; and John Parker, head of Ford of Asia Pacific and Africa, and Mazda.
Other executives who will report to Mulally are:
* Tony Brown, purchasing
* Bennie Fowler, quality and advanced manufacturing engineering
* Nick Smither, information technology
* Richard Parry-Jones, chief technical officer.

proving ground for cars... MS6... brand new engine with no advertising. anyways, as much as i dislike Ford, a part of me wants them to do well, maybe because they still own Mazda.

Well I havent been following mazda's goings corporate wise but if thats true with what ya said Zoom then they are surely recognizing the fact that Mazda did/is doing somethign right in the way they are handling the brand. Something Ford needs to do.
