Yes it is.

The FR500C isn't street legal. The FR500 is.

What makes you think it's not street legal? Look up all the parts it uses. All street legal parts.

To understand what a customer wants for their Mustang it's best to become the customer. This project wasn't just a test mule it served as a daily driver and had us saying, 'you know this would be really cool, let's do that next.' - Jamie Allison, Ford Racing Performance Group Manager.

Uh... did you actually read the page

You want to build the ultimate street Mustang? Then a supercharger is probably in your future. The FR500 Street was unveiled at the 2005 SEMA show and was an instant hit. This Mustang is the most complete example of Ford Racing parts available. It showcases the quality and engineering that goes into Ford Racing parts. With over one hundred and fifty 1/4 mile runs and ZERO failures the car shows that when it's done right it's fun AND reliable!
http://www.fordracingparts.com/mustang/buildyourown.asp

All the components used are street legal and are already sold by Ford Racing (also available through your local dealership). Well... it looks like the supercharger hasn't been finalized, but seeing as how they sell others... it'll come out too.

Who claimed it was a finished car to be sold as a special edition model? I didn't see it anywhere in my posts. I wonder if Ford IS considering that... like the other cars listed on http://www.fordracingparts.com/mustang/buildyourown.asp . Either way you can always buy a GT and build your own.

And you were saying?

Putting together a mail order car and purchasing it as is are different. Let me know when Ford is selling the CAR not the parts. Why would they produce it along with the Shelby? Won't happen. Again let me know when you buy one.

I don't what your ******* problem is. Stop being an ******* and shitting all over this thread.

It's been talked about before... getting a GT and adding a Saleen or Kenne Bell S/C... preferrably Saleen to keep the factory warranty. Getting GT500 power levels (probably better performance because the car is lighter) for less than GT500 prices. This is another... maybe better option.

I think I remember reading an article about the FR500C being close to $100K.......that's a lot of chedder for a Mustang. Not sure what they'll want for the FR500.......but you could always add the parts your GT yourself and slap the FR500 sticker on the side.

Not all of them. And if you search my posts, smartass, you'll notice that I posted a long time ago about the "Performance Packages" that Ford Racing is selling (Performance, Drag and Handling). In other words... " uh... duh!"

Calm down JAP8 would be more appropriate. Good thing everyone didn't react the same way to your posts on the Racing Beat thread with such immature choice of language.

Enjoy your Mustang they are nice cars, my nephew has one. You might find him on some of the Mustang/ Ford GT forums.

I know that the FR500C is $125k... and so the FR500GT is probably around the same or more Figure that a crate motor of the 5.0 "Cammer" engine is $14,000... it only makes sense.

Who knows what the S/C cost will be, but after for the rest of the mods... they are affordable.

Half my family are either working for or retired Ford employees. Yes all of them, if you know who to call.

I would tell you that there are some people who can get Racing Beats header NOW but that might be to much too handle.

Uh, I never once used profanity in that thread, nor directed a personal attack at a specific member.

It's 3:30am. I posted about an interesting looking package/parts setup I found on Ford Racing... and you decided to crap on it. So what if it isn't sold as a complete car yet or ever. You didn't need to state it the way you did.

"Enjoy your Mustang..." See my location... I live in Japan. I don't own a Mustang. I own a Mazda.

And you point is?

This wasn't a pissing contest. This was pointing out that I ALREADY KNEW that the parts had been out for awhile and had infact posted about them here.

Like the RB header... who cares if YOU can get one now. We're talking about things PUBLICALLY available.

I usually curse when I hit my finger real hard but thats just me.

I did not say that you did use profanity in the RB thread just that you came in pointing out all the negatives as you perceived them.

I hope they don't make the s/c kit more expensive then the Kenne Bell kits....because it would be pointless. I fell in love with the Kenne Bell Blowzilla the first time I read about it. 950 hp from the 2.4L Blowzilla on a 2005 Mustang GT 4.6L 3V!!!!! Goodbye traction.......hello tire salesman.

wow

There comes a time
When we head a certain call
When the world must come together as one
There are people dying
And it's time to lend a hand to life
The greatest gift of all

We can't go on
Pretneding day by day
That someone, somewhere will soon make a change
We are all a part of
God's great big family
And the truth, you know love is all we need

[Chorus]
We are the world
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So let's start giving
There's a choice we're making
We're saving our own lives
It's true we'll make a better day
Just you and me

The pen is mightier than the sword for a reason... perhaps your choice of words was less than optimal.

Anywayzzzzzzzzz....drama...for mama peeps, lol.

Aint this what it is all about, finding more HP than the factory (with warranty) and yet a faster car than their top of the line offering.

If only the RX8 had such options, sure we got some that look really good (5psi = 300whp the best so far in my opinion) but it's just so easy to bolt something on the good old V8's and get massive power.

BUT....I still love my 8...
