Was at Menard's picking up some stuff for my house and noticed a pewter colored Elise parked next to me as I was walking out. Just so happens the owner was right behind me so as we were getting into out cars I complimented him on the car and asked him how he liked it. He said he loved it and that it was his weekend toy, also was nice enough to compliment me on my car and told me the Evo was his second choice. I told him he made the right decision and talked shop with him a bit longer, told me he got a great deal on it (whatever that means). I was kinda shocked because I thought the Elise was still commanding at least MSRP.

Anyhow, I was amazed at how nice it sounded as we were pulling out of the lot. It's hard to believe it's the same engine as the Celica. Despite how small it is and how garish the styling I love those cars even more now. We even had a fun little jaunt from the light after we pulled out of the lot. Really cool guy and really cool car.
