Finally hit 300hp... : )

311hp to be exact... but unfortunately not in my RX-8 (yet) :P. I surprised my wife with this last week, and thought I'd share some pics of my 2006 Volvo XC90 V8 AWD luxury kid hauler:

Thanks... that's a factory option... has a DVD player between the front seats, as well as an aux-in so each screen can be on a different source (already have their PS2 ready to go for this weekend's road trip). Wireless headphones, too...

really nice! I also got my self a new SUV got tire of wating for the cx-7 and needed something bigger and with more power to tow the race car, so I went with a 2006 toyota land cruiser.

Those chromed 18's are plenty pimp for me... I don't want my RX-8 to get jealous

The leather and interior are a light taupe- kinda creamy tan... looks nice with the wood trim and aluminum accents.

MSRP was in the mid $50's... I worked a good deal with my supplier discount (Ford X-plan) and some generous incentives.

Land Cruisers are sweet... I love 'em, but I was really focused on a crossover after owning 3 Exploders (and don't have anything to tow anymore). If we didn't need 3 rows of seating (3 kids, their friends, etc), I would have probably bought the Inifiti FX45 instead. I also looked at the Acura MDX, Caddy SRX, Cayenne/Toureg, Land Rover LR3 and Lexus GX470 over the last year... but the Volvo had the best combination of features and looks that made the wife happy (and the kids love it).

Nice car G8R...

I grew up on Volvos as my parents bought lots of them. I didn't like them before but I'm starting to come around to them. The S60R I really like, and it's pretty inexpensive for what it is at like a 37K MSRP.

Still breaking it in so I'm taking it easy, but so far it's awesome... smooth and powerful, great burble at idle, and growls at WOT. It's supposed to do 0-60 under 7 seconds, should be fun when I feel comfortable opening it up.

Thanks... I didn't care for their looks until recently either. The S40 & S60 are really nice, and I'd love to see them make an S40R. Their new designs are a lot more aggressively styled... I hope they continue that way.
