it has nowhere to compress the air. it simply move the air around with fuel then just ignite it. lol

This design is non-traditional because the compression chamber is separate from the combustion chamber. The two are connected internally via a transfer port. As shown in the videos, the combustion chamber is the volume on the left side of the rotor. An animation of all this has been in the works for some time, but I don't know when it will be finished.
