I came across this perusing the Edmunds.com site.

Edmunds tested 4 cylinder AT versions. The Mazda6 4-cylinder AT is butt slow, but beat out the VW for overall sedan package.

Had a 04 Mazda6 4i AT before. Loved it. It was very sporty sedan for sure.
