East German wankel engine from the 1960s
Picture here.
It was supposed to go into this (a version of the Trabant which never got into production). The engine was a 1-rotor, 55 HP, 0.5 liter, licensed from NSU.
Interesting... never knew they were considering a rotary for a Trabant
