Dodge Hornet Concept

Thus, the Hornet borrows the Mini’s basic shape (although it is nine inches longer and ten inches wider) and cool full-glass roof. Dodge then added a touch of Scion xB boxyness because interior space is hip these days.
etc etc

Damn. I can agree with some of the complaints about the caliber... the front is so so for me. The interior... well Chrysler has yet to make on that I really like (even in concept show cars). But this little car... if that hood scoop means FI.... give it the MANDATORY MT, and I'd love AWD (but I don't think they'd do it on this car)... keep the styling just like that and I'd have to go test drive one. It's pretty sharp.

Here's a whole bunch of interesting pics, like this http://www.autoweek.com/apps/pbcs.dl...arams=Itemnr=7 showing the suicide doors, no less! I doubt the beanny brain US-Dodge marketing peps will go for this however, no huge macho probiscus type 747 intake nose.

Certainly whoever designed this one though had their heads on straight - combining Mini-ish footprint, Scion xB space, and (dubiously) a smile only a Remington Razor might love.... does make nice for the intercooler though!

Go for it Dodge USA - bring us a car I might actually be interested in!

^^ Exactly my thoughts.

Except it's a Chrysler and I'd worry about my engine falling out as I pul out of the driveway. I'd get a VAG car and worry less about reliablity issues first...
