The death of The Minty Z
So I'm sure some of you know of this car. The Minty Z has had alot of internet coverage and was in sema in 2011. Well just recently itwas put up forsale by the original owner Heres the link if you don't know much about the car.
NV FS: 2003 Nissan 350Z Touring Minty Z Vip Modular HellaFlush - Zilvia.net Forums | Nissan 240SX (Silvia) and Z (Fairlady) Car Forum
I was on spring break in Panama city beach FL two weeks ago when one night I spotted a cool looking car from my hotel balcony.
I decided to head down and talk to the owner of the car. After talking to the owner of the car for a few minutes I had found out that the owner goes to the same school as me and lives in the same building. I had a few beers in me at the time so I didn't really realize that this car was the minty Z until I looked through my photos the next day with my friend.
Well a few days later I was back in Milwaukee. When I went to park in the garage I saw the 350Z again so I snapped a few pics. As you will see in the photos below the car is pretty haggared from the drive.
pretty good chunk of the front bumper missing.
paint is all cracked and flaking with rust showing up where the paint is missing.
Curbed up wheel
It's sad to see a car like this destroyed so fast but thats what happens when someone buys a car they didn't build and putting their own bloodsweat and tears in to.
Also there are interior panels hanging off inside that I couldn't get pics of.
sorry for the low quality photos. I only had my phone

His sale post is from 2011 with the last post dated 1/29/13 and he was still trying to sell it even then(1 and a half years later) then it got locked. Then he made another post on some other forums ( FS: 2003 Nissan 350Z Minty Z - G35Driver ) and finally said it was sold on 3/21/13 so the new guy hasn't had it very long at all. Also the original owner seems to be named Miguel so the stickers are either a joke or Miguel actually did mess it up again before he sold it.

^ true but the original owner could take care of it when things like this happened, fixing it after things like this happened. The current owner will not as I have been told by others who have knowen him for some time.
