China people LOVE foreign brands. regardless of how garbage they actually are.

Think of it, my relatives thought Buick is a super high end luxury brand in the US ... when its actually mid-low grade crap.

 

If they thought Buick was super high end, what do they think of Rolls Royce, Bentley, etc?

Mercedes Benz and BMW are really the only 2 brands to pick from if you are wealthy in China. Having Buick in the mix is the new brown. It makes you stand out more. China's division of Buick is possibly different from the versions you see here in North America.

i love how the first set of pics are in a german locale. it says a lot about the brand image they are going for.

the interior looks pretty nice, except for those god awful seats. havent they learned anything in 25 years? they still look 80s.
