this guy is ******* nuts

Now the 350Z is another story. It and the Crossfire are very close in my opinion. I would definitely put them in this order:

Crossfire
350Z
Honda S2000
Audi TT (Supercharged version)
Mazda RX-8

i got to test drive both cars. to me the crossfire was funner to drive. it feels more tossable than the 8 and just kind of fit me better. the suspension is a little soft though. on the other hand, the rotary is a fun engine and the 8's interior is rommier and of better quality. plus mazda has been successful in building sports cars (miata and rx7) in this general price range.

no no this ones a good one...

"The Mazda over stated the horsepower of the RX8 I don't think I would even concider it. They had to lie to make the car seem better than it is. I have met one at a traffic light and was dumb enough to get froggy.... He lost pretty badly. I'm not impressed!!! If you can't make up your mind, buy the RX8.... But don't ever challenge a Crossfire.... You won't be happy with the results."

The Crossfire has more torque (229 vs 159) but less HP (215 vs 238). R&T gives the '8 a faster 1/4 mile by .2 sec (14.5 vs 14.7) and faster 0-60 (5.9 vs 6.4).

Look at an RX-8 and then look at a Crossfire and all of your concerns will fade away.

Haahaahhaa "For 5,000 pounds less though.... you can have the Mazda RX-8... it's a complete no brainer, really that's the easiest decision you'll ever make!"

end of story

LOL, I bet there is a member over there whose name is IkeRX8 and would be spouting off on the following points:

- The Crossfire is all looks and lacks the performance compared to the RX-8.

- The Crossfire may handle better on the autox but autox is not really a good indicator of performance. The RX-8 would beat the Crossfire in the track.

- IkeRX8 would champion the non-luxury brands and their great performance per dollar value every time a Crossfire member scoffs of any car that doesn't have the same level of luxury as their cars.

:p
