I've seen a couple of corollas with 13b's in them. My favorite is a 20b in a corolla.

Because a car gets upgraded to GOD status when they drop a rotary in it.
Rotary = Godliness

Better a corolla with a rotary than a rotary swapped for a corolla engine.

I'd love to have an old ae86 with a 13b dropped in. RWD, light weight = tons of fun!

...maybe after I'm done with the 8 and the T2 FC, I can finally focus on converting my "one-cam-wonder" AE86 into a "hachirotor" w/ a carbed 13B.

Rotary in MY Corolla? It is more likely than you think.

I have seen a few very old school corolla wagons with a 12a but that 20b AE86 takes the cake.

There are several answers to this question, for one thing, parts are more readily available and probably cheaper for a 13b, 4ag parts are a pita to find or they're priced like they came off a Bentley if you do happen to find a decent source. These cars weigh nothing, have a good chassis to build off of, and are cheap, so adding a more parts friendly (and more powerful at that) for either less money or close to the same as playing with the stock toyota motor makes perfect sense. I dig cars like this, if I had the funds laying around I'd drop a 13b in a VW beetle and put it in the front to boot lol

light cheap car + more powerful cheaper engine than stock = win so I'd say that's one reason whyyyyyyyyyyyy
