Consumer Reports like the Mazda 3.

Got the August 2004 CR issue where they review small sedans & hatchbacks. The Mazda 3 got the #1 position in both the automatic and manual transmisison categories. GO MAZDA!! :D

Yes, CR loved the 3. But I was really surprised to read that the 3 had a telescoping steering column. I wish the 8 had one.

You can pull or push the steering wheel toward or away from you.
