They're excellent at taking tests despite their driving abilities?

Test scores mean nothing..
SouthWest Florida has the crappiest drivers! Florida has got to have the dumbest, most inconsiderate and the highest percentage of legally blind drivers of anywhere....
It is one of the reasons I'm considering moving.

I've never seen worse driving than in the NJ/NY area, and CA. FL is mild compared to them.

I've only been in 3 car accidents, all 3 happen to have taken place in NJ within a 2 year timeframe. None my fault.

I took it and got this:

Your score was: 90%

Not too bad since Texas is at about the halfway mark on that list.

Aggietiff, don't move to Oregon. You'll bring their score down.

Washington, on the other hand, would welcome you.

95% because I didn't agree with any of the choices in the "you're turning left across traffic" question. Wait for ALL the cars to go by? What if you see one a quarter mile away coming the opposite direction? Are we supposed to wait for THAT one, too? That question is BS and I demand a recount.

I grew up, learned to drive, and spent most of my life in the NYC metro area... And as ridiculous a display of driving as most of the people in that area are capable of (I'm including Nothern Jersey and SW CT, too), Massachusetts still takes the cake. Simply abominable... They're not called Massholes for nuthin'.

As for individual cities, I think they need to throw tire-shredding spikes across every lane of every highway in the Houston metro area, just to save all them thar yahoos from themselves.

That test is retardly easy if you think about the questions. The only question I really had to think about was the one about the right lane ending. Usually, if there is no dotted line in the picture, it means lanes narrow in Canada, not that the right lane ends. Since that wasn't an option, the answer was obvious, as was predicting my score.

Same here. Except I missed the "When waiting to make a left turn, you should give the right-of-way to vehicles coming from the opposite direction" one.

Until ALL of the cars have passed? C'mon. If there's like a very comfortable period when you can turn left, you turn left. You don't wait until there's no cars period...

Ah whatever.

What a crock. Notice how the percentages are high according to dense population. NJ is insanely populated, and drivers of those states like Oregon and Washington wouldn't know what to do if they set foot on these roads with this traffic. Perhaps the Northeast are not the safest drivers, but I'd like to see you midwest, westerners take your car through the heart of Manhattan. Bronx, Queens, ect ect and try and survive the flow of traffic without pulling your hair out or causing an accident yourself. They may be crazy drivers, but those Taxi cabs can do things most of us could never do. I had a hard time the first time I set foot on the streets of NYC, but after some time, I adjusted and was flying through that traffic with precision and craft. Those who cannot do that, or are not used to it will call them lousy drivers. Those very same people will drive out to other parts of US and say the same thing, that the West has the worst drivers. Pure subjective, but my recommendation is that if you wanna learn some seirous skill driving in HEAVY traffic, ald learn some defensive skills, then get your *** to NYC and the outskirts of NJ, so you can truly learn. Take your RX8 right smack into manhattan during rush hour if you got the guts, and you'll really learn how to drive. It makes you a smart, skilled, and defensive street driver.
