article here i really like this new 300. havent had a chance to drive on yet. but i think one of these with awd is a steal at the price. love the looks, reminds me of something the Shadow would drive.

I've seen more of those in the last month than rx8's on the road in the last year

looks like a wannabe BENTLEY to me

Exactly - it looks like a Bentley. You can't deny, that car has some style to it. I just don't think it's got the style that I'd go for - same as the RX-8 isn't for everyone.

I liked it a lot when I first saw it, but I'm starting to really not care for them the more I see them in person. My dad was deciding between 5 different cars, and the 300C was one of them. Once we saw it in person at the autoshow it just wasn't as nice as the other cars he was looking at. However, IMO Chrysler has by far the best design team of any US car maker and rivals that of any automaker in the world. He could have had any car he wants but he just can't bring himself to spend a ton of money on a car so he passed on the 7 series and A8 and ended up with a Hemi Magnum. I'll be driving it in a few days and I'll give a report if anyone is interested and get some pics if I can remember my camera.

I like it. My wife thinks it'll appeal to the older, austere, conservative man. They'll sell tons of this one. They start at C$24k. I see this car will be a real winner for corporate cars, taxis, rentals.

They are sharp, only real problem is they are Chrysler products and will drop like a rock in value, then fall apart around 80k miles.

I had a Chrysler product once..................ONCE!

Car started to feel loose after the first year. Did not wait for end of lease. After 2 full years, I wanted OUT!

Always eager to see goodies. The Magnum uses the same platform, doesn't it?

Not all Chysler products die at 80,000 miles. My parents Caravan has 210,000 miles on it. Sure it creaks a little, but 210,000 miles speaks for itself.

Like Ike, I used to think it was a great car until I took a road trip and saw literally 15 of them on the highway ( I didnt even know they were on sale yet) versus 1 rx-8. I thought it looked like crap in white and silver, dark colors like black and blue are the only ones that really fit the tuxedo look. Once you get beyond the great bentley rip off grill, the rest of the car is very square and very plain. The back end is nothing special at all. These will be absolutely everywhere just like the Z, and they already are. The Z is the cut rate porsche and the 300c is the cut rate bentley. The cheap V-6 model is there for the wannabe's and you cannot deny the appeal of the Hemi V8 for enthusiasts. Chrsyler is the only american company that has shown any signs of life as far as styling and raw power. While I may not think their car designs are beautiful, at least they are refreshing in a world of recycled GM crap and plastic cladding. As far as chrysler quality goes, I wouldn't say its anything great but I would still put them light years ahead of GM and Ford for the most part.

i think this particular chrysler will hold up quite well since there's quite a bit of mercedes running gear in it

i think it's really nice. it looks real cool, especially nice in dark colors. has that custom chopped roof look to it. and the hemi is nice. i only like the 300C tho, the cheaper models i don't like. i don't think it's for the older conservative people, but quite the opposite. i have a feeling it'll turn out the same popularity as the recent cadillacs have w/ rappers and stars, you know, the DUB crowd

I, too, have seen a LOT of these on the road. Can't say I like them at all. Just ugly and awkward looking. But some people say that about the 8, so whatever floats your boat.
