choices choices

Man there are a lot of really great choices around the $30K mark right now. With all this waiting for the Mazda RX-8 to come out, I have gotten a soft spot for the 2003 Ford Mustang Mach 1. Now it's like ok do I want a loud, obnoxious, with a shaker hood that will turn heads or do I want a Mazda RX-8 seems like it would definitely be the better choice to live with on a day to day basis with lots of great options on technology Ford can't match. Although the Mach 1 will probably hold up it's resale value (less that 5000 made) and it's exclusivity since it's been out for over 6 months and I nor anyone I know has ever seen one on the street.

What do I want, something flashy that people would turn their heads and notice type of car. Something very sporty - loud - decent for day to day life - sorry 350Z need not apply no trunk space for short trips - rear seat purpose for me is to dump bags and stuff on trips.

What do you guys think. Oh btw speed isn't the most important think for me.

Get the car that's best for *you*, not best for others to look at.

I'm getting the RX-8 because in its class, it should be the best handling car with four seats, a good look, and a great price.

That, and rotary power too

Tough call there mate. Resale on the Mach 1 should stay high (I expect the RX-8 to as well, because of supply & demand, for the short term).

Overall, the RX-8 has more to offer me, like useable rear seats, and better handling.

Whatever strokes your boat.
