It'll be cool to see my first Cayman on the road, much less - ahem - shut it down!

there's this kinda hot middle aged lady with a silver caymen s that parks next to my 8 a lot (or is it me purposely parking the 8 close to her car )

it's damn nice looking car, i'd hit one if someone hand me some money to buy it

oh, and i actually overheard her making car talk w/ some dude while in the elevator, something about driving on track with local porsche club, hello sugar mama!!

As opposed to the woman I saw driving a Cayman S like a Toyota Camry recently.

Funny you should mention RUF. $245k will get you a RUF RK Coupe.

If you just want the 997 engine and supercharger sans the fancy interior, to-die-for bodykit, wheel & suspension upgrades, that will only set you back about $35k (per R&T 11/06 print edition).

Yeah I subscribe to the magazine. The RK is a pretty crazy car. I imagine you could do a lot with the existing engine and not have to make the full swap to the 911 motor and still make it a 911 destroyer.

The Cayman is actually going to be my next car once I finish doing what I want to do to my 8... which is going to be a while, but yea.

I think it's actually a steal. Sports Car International suggested it might be the best-handling Porsche of all—at any cost.
