Twice today when i went to start my car after leaving the store it wouldn't start with the keyless starter. All the lights on the dash would light up but nothing else would happen. I had to take out the plastic starter thing and put the real key in to beable to start my car. Anyone know why? Also i noticed if my key and my cellphone are in the same pocket when i go to push the botton on the door to open the car nothing happens. I have to separate the key and my cellphone before i can open the door. Im guessing my cellphone interferes with the signal from the key to the car. Has this happened to anyone else?

i have two cars in the family w/remote start(automatic)not my 8.but my accord has a remote start that has been in it for about four years and when i went to start it on one of our really cold days it would flash the lights like it was going to start and would run for a second or two and cut off.the second accord has a new remote starter that would not start the car at all i believe that the temps. had an effect on it as well.(when warmer no problems at all with either of them.your phone should not have an effect on your remote but anything possible with all the radio waves going around the air space.i well try to adjust the crank time on the newer model but who knows?i am pretty sure the temperature has something to do with your 1st problem.hope it helps to know weird things happen when it's cold out!

its not a remote starter. Its like a plastic **** that you turn and it starts the car.....It came with my 8. and for some reason it wouldn't start with the **** only the key.
