Car show pics
There was a fathers day car show yesterday and I decided to enter my 8...so here are a few pics that my brother took.
Camaro SS...very nice.

Thats me with my annoying sling.

This avenger was kinda ricer but I was interested in it because it has the 420A turbo setup that I tried to install on my eclipse. My turbo was huge compared to his though.

My buddies 350Z

Finally my 8 and my brothers Eclipse.

Nice pics. Thanks.
Sorry, but the SS looks like crap. $2265 for that Ground Effect Package. What a waste. Car looks much better without that junk on it.
Those ugly *** exhaust finishers are ridiculous. $4680 for that 21" Wheel package!!!!!!! F' that!!!!

Nice pics. I've always kind of missed my 420A Eclipse even though it never got the planned turbo added (was trade for RX-8 back in '05). Seeing that Avenger's engine bay brought back some memories. That 944 looks good - always wanted one of those. And, I agree with GTO - the body kit on the Camaro doesn't look good at all.
Those fat fuggers weigh between 3750 and 3900 lbs! To that I say "Corvette inspired" my ***. Maybe I'm the idiot but I struggle to understand these days why greater time isn't spent to lighten the curb weight of these so called "performance" cars like the Camaro, Challenger, GTO, etc. My wife's SUV only weighs 4100 lbs so come on! To me there is no greater indication of handling potential than factory curb weight. Is GM building this thing out of iron and lead?

Lets pick on the Evo and STi. Both have gotten heavier, even with the technologies available in materials and design. What happened there?
In general, people don't care about a curb weight statistic. They care about features, creature comforts, bottom line performance statistics, gas mileage and safety.
and the porsche looked nice, but using modern day wheels doesnt match to well. he should use style of wheels of that era
What were they thinking?
But wait... why pick on the Camaro, Challenger and GTO?

Nice Pics. If I saw that Camaro as the Entry Camaro, I would've hated the looks. But seriously, WTF.
Oh and at first, I thought the 944 was an Rx-7, since I only took a slight glance and saw those wheels.
