Since there isn't much coverage in the USA about these cars usually, I thought I'd share this blog with you I just posted. Could be interesting for the gearheads out there.

Yeah, a market of 33 million people doesn't get too many one-off sports cars

 

yeah for all the posts about " man they get the better cars in X country" we see now why its never been said about Canada

That's why Canada rocks.

I rarely see RX-8s, or any decent cars kicking around. I live near the third largest city in Canada, and maybe once every 6 months I'll see something as esteemed as a Maserati, Audi R8 or Ferarri of any type.

 

What? you can get smart cars in the US.

Someone in my office has one.

You ever park next to them to put them to shame?

 

For just an instant I consider stealing it on days when I have to drive into and park in the city. Then I remember I'd be crushed flat if I got hit by a wayward SUV on the drive down on the highway.

 

well. those are terrible examples of nice cars we don't get

i dont wish we got any of them...

however i wish we got the ford mondeo and ford focus st and rs.

*im not sure but i dont think we get the rs? i know we dont get the st.


but the point is, the mondeo is sweet, and we should get it

What happens when you get rear ended by an escalade and shoved forward into the tailgate of the lifted truck in front of you? You know, the one with the bumper level to your neck?

The only car I'm jealous you guys get to own is a skyline. Well of course we can to, but it takes a helluva lot of time and money to get it passed.

 

I enjoy watching smart cars go over speed bumps... you can see the angle of the car change as it goes over.
