I traded in a '99 Civic Si - it was too much work to drive.
One article I read about the car stated " you have to drive
it like you just stole it " to get it to rev. That was true for me.
For 4 years I missed my old '92 Prelude and looked
forward to my next car.
I went to a dealer I thought was closed on Sunday
August 24th - they were open- now I have a new toy
in my driveway I got the sunlight silver.
I've been driving around with a silly smile on my face every since.
And my insurance actually went down a few bucks!

HHHmmm...how long ago did you have that car? Did you buy it new? What did you think of it?
I currently have a 2000 Suzuki Grand Vitara and an 86 Corolla GTS. I love my little AE86. I would'nt dream of getting rid of it. I would be ditching the Suzuki for the RX8. I am gonna wait until the 2005 model year or when the price falls to 21K. Already dealers around my are are selling MT models with sport packages for 25K. I want a base 6MT RX8 in either white, or dark blue. Plus these buybacks and stuff are making me think twice. Truth is I hate Mazdas...but I love rotaries. Sucks. I wish Toyota made rotary powered cars...that would be perfect. My past cars were:
84 RX7 GS
85 RX7 base eventually dropped in a streetported fully worked 13B Holley carb, Mazdatrix header etc too much to list, that car was fast!!
86 RX7 GXL(Crap...FC...I hate those unreliable pieces of junk)
86 RX7 base 2+2(just as crappy as the 1st one)
88 RX7 GTU(figured 3rd time is the charm...slightly better but still had elecrical problems, and wouldn't start everyday.)
Finally got to the promise land with my 1st Toyota
85 Celica GT(reliable as death...not a single problem. It had 150K miles when I got it, and I added 30K more before I sold it)
84 Celica GTS( Just as good as the 1st one)
86 Corolla SR5 coupe
86 Corolla GTS coupe
86 Corolla GTS liftback
Now all these cars may seem crappy to you rich folks. But I am only 23. I own a house and am married with 2 kids. My income available to blow on cars is very small. I think I've done alright though.

Honda Integra Type R DC 2
I had a 1999 model of 96 spec Integra Type R (DC 2)
If the Jap spec DC5 (current integra type R) comes to Australia. It will be a bloody tough choice.
Changing from Type R to Rx8 is not a huge jump. Both are fun car to drive. The RX8 just more comfortable.
