Very surprising, and disturbing I thought the data belonged to to the vehicle owner. And wasn't to be used unless the owner released it. What's next, having a yearly data dump for the DMV to fine you for evry recorded speeding event?

Also, aparently the vehicle's readings, and the accident reconstructions were over 20 MPH off of each other.

I guess my next car is going to be an FC... ...well not really, but this is definately something to keep an eye on

The way I see it is if your driving like an *** an kill someone or injure someone you should be held liable. If that means using the cars black box well then I'm all for it. I don't think they should use it for any other reasons though. Now if the data is that incorrect then they need to take that into account.
