i just installed new brake switch in my car to assist with my cruise control install in my mazda 3. i go to test it out and now my car cant be moved out of park. The brake release for the transmission isnt activating. I didnt disconnect my battery during the instal can that be the problem? any ideas here guys.. please help.. thanks

i have confessed my sins and as it turns out.. my car has been fixed.. there was a loose connection on the brake switch which required a new wire.. thanks
