What does this do to the balance? With the huge weight of the piston engine off the front, does he have to put in a load of bricks as a counter weight for the big back end? How about handling?

What is the actual weight difference? Remember, he installed a 20b turbo. I bet the weight is closer than you think.

Ahhhhh... okay questions.... Did somebody bomb Puerto Rico with 20B's?
Did Mazda just start sprinkling 20B's on that island for some reason?
I thought 20B's were becoming fairly rare? Puerto Rico has so many of them they stuff them in Mustangs? Is there a V6 shortage there? Do 20B's grow on palm trees? Does the ocean current drag them in, and Puerto Ricans find them on the beach? From what I can tell, there are more 20B RX8's on that island than Renesis RX8's.

In either case, balance would be worse with the 20B. Handling woul be identical to any other Mustang using the same suspension.
I personally would rather see it in a '65 Mustang fastback. Those start out weighing about the same as an FC RX7...

Hell if theres no EPA, I'm sure Mazda might have to reproduce 20b due to high demand !

I wonder how many FD owners approach that guy pissed off about his Efini badge in the front, saying he doesn't deserve it........... untill he pops the hood. The biggest way to annoy Americans would be to race a full fledged redneck in a red, white, and blue Mustang GT, win, then tell him the engine is from Mazda........ and 1991. HAHAHA............. Maybe then America would see more Rotary cars as our "performance loving" citizens would have a fanbase seeing their beloved V8 fall.

I am going to say it just to defend a fellow Mustang.
What a waste of a Mustang.
There.....I said it. Didn't really mean it because it was a V6 stang which is barely a Mustang anyway. Had this been a GT this would have been a huge waste of a Mustang

I can already hear people yelling obscenities at me through their monitors ... but the rotary engine is not the end-all-be-all of engines. I'm as big a rotorhead as most of us here, but c'mon there is certainly something to be said about big beautiful V8's right!? You can't make every car better by putting a rotary in it....

the laws in Puerto Rico makes it hard to import use engines directly from japan so they buy them here, I have seen containers with 6 or 7 20b's all pre-sold to puertorican's, just yesterday a friend sold a 2002 13b REW complete with ecu and electrical harness
I have 2 20b's right now

if the Puerto Ricans dont have then pre paid you can get a complete engine, harness all accesorys for about $3500 ( I got one for 2,000 about a year ago) but most used engine importers dont sell them to Dominicans because there is an agreement with them, they buy all the rotary's the importer can get, I have seeng a couple of truck full of rotarys getting on the ferry
