Basically.... im driving home from work, on the motorway, when a Bentley GT continental (tears :p :p ) Pulls up next to me... im staring at his car... and him at mine... he looks over, points at the car gives me the thumbs up, i answer with a grin and a nod.... and we pull away together... (grabbed a shot as he starting to pull away faster than me....)

See now you tell me if that woulda happened in an S2000, Impreza, or 330ci e.t.c ??

Yup, nothing like an rx8. It's eye catching. Oh Yeah. As a matter of fact we had awesome weather today. So I took the opportunity of washing the rx8. Oh man, I dont want to drive her. Just keep her untouched in the garage.

But you know what? I can feel it, the rx7 is gonna make a return and when it does, oh my Lord, it will turn some heads.

I say Mid September 2006, Mazda will introduce the rx7 and by then with good behavior I'll be outta prison and I'll be drivin the rx7.

What do you say to that ehhhhhhhhhh?

out of all the cars that could possibly want to race me, i had a Porsche Carrera 4S & Mercedes CLK320 pull up to me the other day, both sandwiching me and signaling that they wanted a piece of me.. It was awesome! I felt like one of them except the part where i got left behind in their dust.. It's cool that even ppl in their 50's still love to drive in groups like us youngins..

 

Hey hey hey... My cousin (a year younger - thus this is personal) has the CLK 320 and my car can whoop his *** (Ok ok maybe not) But - 0-60 can stay a nose ahead of him(the trick is to stay in the high rev's as the torque on the 320 will kill us otherwise... he usually pulls off after about 130 mph (as i choose not to go faster)... the Porsche.. fair enuff!!!

ANNNNND the CLK 320 (nearly 5 years old) is cheaper than my Rx8 too..

i drive through long beach almost everyday and i ran into Jesse Jame's Bently..talk about sick..that shyt was black sitting on black deep deep dish 24's...i just nodded wassup to him and he gave one back..

i meant his car...he has a **** load of cars...i drive by monster garage and west coast choppers everyday...its a shortcut i take instead of taking the dammed 405...his two shops are within minutes from each other so i see him clowning around with all his cars all the time..what a lucky guy!..but his bentley is ****** sick!!

 

I love that show, American Chopper. I'll keep an eye open for his Bentley. I dunno, from that picture, it doesn't look too impressive.

I was heading west out of Chicago two weekends ago, and saw a black one and a sort of bluish dark silver (gunmetal...ish) one heading in. I nearly broke my neck trying to follow one of them as it drove by in the other direction. It's amazing how much more impressive cars can be in person than in pictures. I guess we shouldn't be totally surprised to see a few GTs out there. They aren't (as far as supercars go =$200,000 loaded) terribly expensive. (Did I just say $200,000 wasn't terribly expensive for a car? Shoot me)

unlikely that an 8 is that rare and exotic that it could be the only car to warrant acknowledgment from exotic car drivers vs others. Even I get waves and thumbs up so it's likely it can happen to others

Now the Bentley LM is something I would like to see on the road other than that they don't do it for me.
