ATTN: Rota haters

i figured i'd give you guys some new ammunition, because that one picture you keep posting under false pretenses is getting pretty stale.

so, there you go. same type of wheel as the last one and everything.

not that you can really bash rota wheels for that, but you could craft it into some clever story about people who own rota wheels.

that's because the largest they make is 17x8.5

this is what potholes and random dips can do...

Damn you should see the potholes I put my BBS RXs on my 525i through, they're straighter than Chuck Norris still.

...and you should have seen my Advan RG's. Even though they were cast (casting processes can differ GREATLY), they held up vs. a guardrail at 45 mph that totaled my s2000. 100% straight/round and not a single mark on it (although the tow truck idiot put a small nick on the lip when taking the car up.

I fail to see how the wrench is Rota's fault, but funny none the less. My Rota's held up great when they were directly hit by a car scratched them up but nothing bad. I'm not trying to say Rota's are amazing rims or anything, just sayin'.

Can someone explain what I am looking at? All I see is a wrench zip-tied to a caliper. How does that have anything to do with the wheel?

Trying to make it easier for someone to steal his wheels?

I don't get it either.

Big Money Pit.

That was my clever story... It was short, but clever.

I do understand that the guy is running with at (least) one brake rotor missing, and I do understand that he has jammed and zip-tied an adjustable wrench in between the pads to stop the pads being forced out and leaking fluid everywhere and making all of his brakes fail.

Ha Ha.... I said FAIL!
