http://www.worldcarfans.com/9081028....-one-77-images Dutch automotive site 925.nl has unearthed new images of the upcoming Aston Martin One-77. The One-77 was announced just a couple of months ago but has already sold out. Its deep pocket-buyers, who've had to leave a hefty £200,000 deposit to place their orders, will have to wait until late 2009 for their cars to begin coming in. Proving once again how daring supercars can be, the One-77 was announced amid one of the worst slumps in the automotive business in decades with the eye-popping price tag of £1,050,000 or roughly 1.4 million euros. The car's details are few but the One-77 is expected to come with a 7.3-liter V12 engine churning out over 700hp. It will also have aluminium body panels and a carbon fibre chassis. Aston Martin has limited production to just 77 models, in keeping with true supercar tradition and settling on the obvious number 77, the same one that designates the car. |
Looks good from all angles but rear 3/4 view is excellent. I agree on the wheels. I'm noticing a recent styling trend of vertical air intakes on nose of some of these recent cars/concepts.

I like the look... even though it kind of looks like it's angry and crying at the same time...

That is a look of RAGE! Damn nice looking car.
Aston Martin has always had great designs. |
raging. but doesnt really have that supercar look
Yeah i'm one of those 77 people who purchased one :)
Too corvette, too mitsubishi, too pontiac, and too damn nissan et al times 100 copycats.
These committees throw something together with crude mish-mash of pre-existing topologies. |
It appears from the previews that Bond is going to trash another Aston.
Awesome looking car minus the retro wheels. Looks like a Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren made a baby with the Aston Martin DBS.
number #77 is going to command a hefty premium if its resold.
wow that side shot is sex. Those huge rear fenders are :Drooling_
BUT GOOD GAWD, LOOK At that rear diffuser!
I like .....The exhaust note is going to sound nice . I heard it on a DBS and damn it sounded sweet.

What we saw here today for the first time is the completely exposed exterior and guts of the most expensive and highest performing production Aston Martin ever. Starting with the typical 6.0L V12 block, the displacement has been increased to 7.3L and the output is somewhere north of 750 hp. Zooming to 60 mph will come somewhere in the lower half of the three-second range and the car's top speed is high enough to be utterly irrelevant except for those seeking bragging rights. We also got to see the first completed carbon fiber and aluminum chassis on display with the body buck. We'll have an in depth article on the One-77's greasy bits in a couple of days. http://www.autoblog.com/2009/03/03/g...ully-revealed/ |
Virtually superlative, except the wheels.
Wow, just wow, that looks amazing.
sick.... it looks like it's got eye liner
