Anyone test Drive the Charger yet?

As soon as I get back to florida I'm going to a Dodge Dealership with my car and tell them "Ya I'm interested in trading my car in for something new you think I can test drive it?".

I have seen a few over the course of the past couple weeks. I think thier ugly. I have come to the same conclusion regarding the new mustang now that I have seen so many. Both akward looking cars. Go drive the SRT-8!!

I really don't like the 300's looks, giant engine (srt-8) or not. My parents nicknamed it the Latvia because it looks like something out of Soviet Russia, and I can't say I disagree with that.

I can't say I am a big fan of the 300's looks either. But, it looks better than the charger, and I can't argue with engine in the SRT8. One mash of the right foot and i'll forget all about it.

I like the looks of the 300, kind of old school gangster choptop. That was actually my second choice car after the 8.

The 300 was kind of novel at first, but I now think they're eh

I drove a Charger R/T. DEFINATELY faster than the '8. the 5.7L gets it moving. It was suprisingly light on the wheel, but you could tell that it was designed for a passenger, smooth ride, not a sports ride.

I sat in a Magnum SRT8, and I fell in love with the seats as soon as I sat down. was allowed to start the engine, and that 6.1L is pretty mean. I could tell, from the way the car didn't bounce when I sat down, that the ride would be MUCH sportier...

I think a Charger SRT8 is in my future....

In 5OVI3T RU55IA, CHRYSLER drives YOU!

(sorry, couldn't pass up the opportunity)

If I wanted a large sedan, the 300 would be on the list. I think it's a well-done product, and wouldn't mind trying one out for a long road trip to see what it was like.

hope they give it more fuel capacity than 14 gallons...

what would that sound like? the 2 rotor sounds weird enough. 3 rotor is messed up.... how many rotors for a 5.7?

That would be about 1+2/3 . . . add left fingers . . . subtract 1 . . . 9 rotors. Speaking of rotor deactivation, how difficult would it be to do something like that, say every other chamber not have fuel or spark, or even just spark what is left over in the chamber from the last burn? For things like cruising, or down hill when you are not really on the throttle and don't need to really use the gas.

Well in order to displace 5.7L, do you consider the renesis and 13B variants to be 1.3L, 2.6L, or 3.9L's? All are correct in their own respects...

As for the 300's, we call em "rentleys"....since they're rental cars trying to be bentleys.

I'm sure those magnum SRT-8's are really something though...

A friend of mine just bought a Charger, and I drove it around a couple times - this car feels HUGE to drive. I had absolutely no sense of where the started or ended. Turn-in is surprisingly decent for a car its size, but the floor felt REALLY high.

I had an Intrepid before the RX8. never thought I would do anything but dodge, but I just *had* to test drive a rotary.. and the next day I drove my rx8 home :-P

now that I am here... I really am starting to miss the big car. The charger atcually is way easier to drive than the FWD intrepid, and, it has rediculous amounts of torque.

Now.. to figure out how to have an '8, and an '8

My girlfriend's father is the head of the parts department of a dodge dealership here in houston. He took me out in a charger, and it reminded me enormously of my old SC400, handling, ride, and weight wise. Reminds me of my friend's Mach 1 in a straight line (for good reason).
