Have 3 in the garage (see sig). Learned that there lots of 8 - bike owners...we're just a smarter bunch aren't we?
Those hp and torque esp. numbers seem real high; you got those just with the PC & exhaust? Wow.
Nice pics and bikes. Great to see your GF riding, you're lucky. Just came back from a 12 hr. ride to Milwaukee (Harley's 105th)...wife was never a happy passenger...

yeah thats wheel hp as well i'll see if i can find my dyno sheet i'll post up the stock dyno and the one from after the mods.stock was 108 at the wheel. again yeah it is a bit higher.. typically most people just do slip ons.. and those are only good for 5-8 hp gain but i went with the full race exhuast and a commander with a race map.. more fuel so on.. so i shaved 10 lbs and gained 15 hp thats a huge gain of course for a 600 give me a few i'll post the dyno vids

im going to guess by your name that your fireblade is a 929 not the 954 right? and yes i hear that a lot.. about my GF yeah she is great. she rides better than most of my guy friends.check out this lean!. she also have a 1999 Trans Am. the 5.7l 6mt catback exhaust ram air so on. and yes you can see the thong peeking out.. she's the one to point that out to me :P

yeah i do being that i have owned both and the style of riding that i do it was a turd.. also the power rating was just around the 140 range at the crank.. now thats all well and good but seeing as it weighed over 35lbs more.. and had right around the same amount of torque getting it around the track wasnt as easy OR as quick as the r6 is.. NOW you are correct that in a 1/4 or straight on highway roll the 750 takes.. but thats all if you can catch me on a back road with it.. then your a better rider than more than most i have a friend thats a Cup racer 1000cc stocks and he likes my r6 better than his 1000 in the turns

yeah I've ridden many of bikes.. from a 9 second full on drag Zx14 to a stock 1000cc cup racer down to 500cc sport standards.. I would have to say the 750's are are the best bang for your buck. good power good handling so forth but for my style of riding.. basically agressive riding 90 percent on the track the 600 is the best with decent supporting mods

here ya go the vids of my gf's and my bike's on the dyno - not me controlling the dyno

I ride an SV650 that I bought new 7 years ago. Had every intention of trading up to an SS or liter bike, but I'm having quite enough fun on the SV that I could never justify spending the money on a new bike. I just put an Ohlin's rear shock on a couple of weeks ago and the front forks are currently laying in pieces on the garage floor - I F'ed up the new oil seal I was putting on during the rebuild last weekend, so now I'm waiting for the new one to get in. I can't wait to get it back together and test out the new setup!
I've done the Dragon a couple of times also - it's fun to say you did it, but all in all, just getting there on the roads all around that area is just as much fun and less traffic or cops to boot!

Nice. I'd love a bike. The only thing that really keeps me from it is insurance (my heath insurance raises rates if you've been on a bike in the last year), and the dumbass drivers out there. Someone hits you, and splat.
Man it seems like it would be fun, though. I guess you only live once.

Im selling my bike tho. I want a 2009 R3 bad enough to give up my passion for riding. Dont want a bike and car payment.

i'll give ya that the streets are stressful i've been hit 3 times.. lol never serious... but the Cage drivers are idiots for the most part.. you always have to think that they dont know your there.. no matter if they are staring at you with their mouth wide open while your flipping them off or not! lol.. they are great though... i couldnt ever give up riding... i dont know what i would do if i couldnt... to me there is no better freedom... i love my cage man do i love it. but in the end.. there isnt anything better then a few little things.. cruisin the streets just layed back and enjoying the sites.. sitting at a break stop with your boys and watching the women drool... or my personal fave.. hanging off the side of the bike at full lean angle. rolling on the throttle with the RPM's at 17k!

I just started riding a few years ago. I got an '89 Honda Hawk 650GT for my learner bike and rode it for a season and a half. I just uped to a '00 Trimuph Sprint RS 955i that has about 3k miles on it. I have to say the in-line 3 cylinder of the Trimuph gives a super smooth ride and a nice wide power band. I think once I have the $$ I'll be looking into a 2007 Trimuph Speed Triple 1050i. Those just look mean

97 Magna VF750C.. it definitely moves. I like the cross between the comfort of a curiser and the speed of a sport bike; I think it was initially rated just under 4s for 0-60. The black and red matches the black and red on my RX
