Everyone loves to hate on Bangle these days, but to me, this thing is far uglier than anything from BMW.

M-B CLS:

No. No, you're not. It just looks wrong. The whole arc thing is just wrong. The funny thing is that the articles I read praised its appearance.

Actually, I think it is the first 4-door from MB that I find attractive.

That first pic makes it look "sloppy" and unproportional. The side view is not bad at all.. but the middle reminds me of the Acura TL.

I thought the same thing, with a little difference. To me, it looked like someone took an S-class, bent it longitudinally, then sanded off the corners.

It would be funny if you rear ended an suv in that thing. You'd slide right underneath...I bet you'd lift the back of it off the ground.

Exactly. It's like the mags have this attitude that everything M-B designs is some kind of masterpiece.

Right. The AMG version, the CLS55, will use the same 469 hp engine as the E55. The regular 500 uses the same 5L V8.

It looks droopy to me. All the downward curves make me think the thing's made of something soft and gelatinous and it's losing the battle with gravity.

They should provide a complimentary Rx for Viagra to any man who buys this car.

It's a beauty compared to the new 3-series line that's coming out. Those things are just horrendous.

I don't think it looks too bad but it looks SO LONG! That is the main problem I have with the car is that it looks like it was steped on or something.

I think it is gorgeous, that line wrapping around the front wheel well and then stretching all the way to the back is a particularly brilliant touch. It looks low, sleek, elegant, a perfect look for a luxury sedan. It isn't a very agressive look but for the type car it is I think that would be a mistake.

Of course this is just my opinion, and many of you might disagree with me because while I love my 8 I don't think they are particularly attractive cars from the outside, but I am perfectly ok with that because while I particularly dislike the nose on the 8 I can't see the car's nose while sitting in the driver's seat :-)

I think it looks great. I really like the sweeping lines. Now, I'm just wondering how long it will take Hyundai to bring out a car that has similar lines like they've done with all their recent "high end" cars. :D

I'm not a fan of it either--however I still think it is marginally better than alot of those Bangled BMWs (7,5,Z4). The interior is top notch though.
