I bought one as a joke for my buddy, he's got an old Saturn. He's tried modding it but has failed horribly(not that I'm surprised) I gave it to him tellin him it'll add like 70hp. It sounds so funny, nothing like a turbo.

What's wrong with that. I bought one off ebay a year ago. I get 30+ mpg City. I have Dyno proven 260 RWHP after it was added. It's a great product. J/K Whoever buys that is not right in the head.

Ok, I'm being very serious here, so stick with me.

*I* would not buy one of those. BUT if you read the add carefully, they are not claiming that it extends MPG or adds horsepower. Actually the seller is specifically stating that it does neither. The only claim is that it changes the sound of the car.

While this thing makes me cringe in pain, I don't feel like it's being falsely advertised the way the Turbonator and like products are. There might be some people out there that like the way a BOV sounds and maybe this is a good solution for them.

One of the posters above said it doesn't sound anything like a turbo charged car...that's a different story. At least the company isn't making (too) outrageous of a claim.

 

Half of my friends would buy that.

 

it does sound like a turbo, but not a BOV. i listened to the sound clip, but i would rather spend 17 bucks on a good knife to stab myself with than buy that thing
