Btw there are combustion engines that run on hydrogen only and they don't have a significantly higher efficiency either. Any engine that has to obey thermodynamic laws won't go much higher than 40%.
A fuell cell of course doesn't have to obey thermodynamic laws, but this is a different story.

The point of adding hydrogen is not to give you more power, but haveing more hydrogen atoms for the free carbons to attatch to instead of Oxygen creating green house gasses.
That's why we shouldn't eat beef, because cattle burp and fart a lot of Methane.
But then again I rather have an occasional hurricane than forgo steaks for the rest of my life.
